Epe Club Has Gone A Long Way To Integrate Epe Division - Odebiyi
A member of the prestigious Epe club, Dr. Odebiyi Olalekan Idris has described Epe club as an organisation that has succeeded in integrating Epe Division.
Speaking during an interview the medical practitioner stated the current executive members of the club are working very hard to sustain the legacies of the founding fathers of the club by integrating the entire people of Epe Division for a common front through social interactions and infrastructural developments.
He explained that the club which was established a decade ago has come to stay, having several prominent scholars spread across all professions, pointing out that the club is poised to contribute greatly in all spheres of endeavours.
Doctor Odebiyi reveals that he was a president of the student union association for Epe students and during this period, he made efforts to ensure that brilliant students in tertiary institutions are adequately taken care of through bursary awards from the club.
He revealed further that Epe club is blessed with resourceful personalities that have steered the ship of progress of the club and this include, Late Chief Lanre Rasak, a grass root politician who has passion for human development. Alhaji Fowosere also played his role towards ensuring that the club will be able to meet world class standards.
Engr. Shabi has also been able to sustain the tempo by building on the legacies of his predecessors in office, pointing out that he has been able to introduce new trends that has made the club outstanding in the state.
He added that the club is a veritable tool that could be used to fashion out radical infrastructural development for the people of Epe Division.
In his message of hope for members of the club, he said the club will be a force to be reckoned with in Nigeria, in no distant future, stressing the need for members of the club to continue to integrate for maximum development and also provide selfless services to the public.
Dr. Odebiyi Idris obtained his primary education at Enitan Primary School Aguda, Community High School, Adeniran Ogunsanya for his Secondary Education. He has several professional certificates which include, leadership and emotional intelligence, IT project management, Masters in international public health, University of Liverpool.
Dr. Odebiyi also worked in Anka General Hospital, Zamfara, Lagos State (eredo). The Governor's House special Clinic (Emara) among others.
